Countdown = Target date and time - Current date and time.
Example
If the current local time is 9 October 2026 at 09:00 and the target is 11 October 2026 at 12:30, the remaining duration is 2 days, 3 hours and 30 minutes, assuming no UTC-offset change during that interval.
Can I leave time blank?
Yes. It will use midnight at the start of the selected date.
Can I choose a past date?
No. Choose a future date for a countdown.
Does it use my local time?
Yes. It uses your device time zone and clock. Daylight-saving changes can affect elapsed hours. You cannot select a different time zone here.
Does the countdown update automatically?
No. Press Calculate again for a fresh result. The displayed duration does not tick down automatically.
